I was at this restaurant when it first opened about a year ago and came again this past Saturday. I was surprised to see only a 3 stars rating but decided to try anyway. Can honestly say I have know idea why it's not higher. Bar tender made my daughter an excellent expresso martini, the wait staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and came out exactly as ordered. There were 5 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service and the prices were very reasonable too - we had the mussels and the poutine as appetizers and they were both excellent
The restaurant is very clean as well
Overall great experience -

No fries. They had no fries. Bbq sauce and ranch was good. But they forgot my bacon, bbq sauce and Cajun on my burger.
Some say I'm still waiting for fries to this day.... -

This was the first time I've been back in almost two years. Sitting here for over an hour now -
With water and a single drink. First drink (Volcano) was so awful, I sent it back - noticed the next table did the same. Of course, it took far too long to get a drink. Now STILL waiting on our food.
In fact, we're leaving. -

If I could give this place no stars I would. I have never been so dissatisfied with a dining experience before this point.
I'll start off by saying that our server, Nicole, insisted on us keeping our drink menu and then disappeared into a black hole and never came back to ask if we had even wanted beers. Sit tight kids, because the long laundry list of other things that went wrong during our dining experience are about to follow.
We waited 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich and burger. Forty. Five. Minutes. There were 18 people in the place. I counted. (Couldn't see the other back rooms) Not once did our server, whose name I'll drop again, Nicole, come over to our table and apologize for the wait. We heard her tell the table next to us that there was a large party upstairs and the kitchen was backed up, yadda, yadda, but not once did she come over to our table and say anything. We had to overhear her apologizing versus handling the problem head on.
Our food finally comes out, she apologizes briefly and then runs away so quickly we couldn't even express our dissatisfaction in efforts to give her an opportunity to make amends. We overheard her saying that she had been checking back with the kitchen multiple times, and I just don't understand why she wouldn't have came out and proactively told us what was going on instead of waiting until the table next to us got pissed off and then ignored everyone else.
Back to the food. It was crap. We waited all that time for nothing. We were so hungry that we ate half of it before we realized it was basically mush. I got the pacific coast chicken sandwich (grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, Swiss, guac and arugula) which was a dollar up charge from the spice rubbed chicken sandwich, and the basically the only difference was the addition of guac on the pacific coast-- if there was any. A dollar extra for a tiny dab of guac. It wasn't even enough to coat the roll. I didn't even taste it. If you're not going to put any sort of sauce on the sandwich, at least put enough guac to give the bland sandwich some flavor.
My boyfriend got the Southern Burger (BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, onion ring) and the roll was so soggy he couldn't even eat it. I took a bite of the burger just to see how bad it was, and the outer layer or the burger was tough, which was a shame because the inside was cooked perfectly. The cheese looked like it had been melted and then sat so long that it cooled and hardened again. You could tell the bacon was on its third time being heated up, it was the farthest thing from crispy, it was a shame because the flavor was there (yesterday). We didn't even touch the onion rings because they were so soggy. Just an unfortunate mess.
We subbed out our fries for the baked mac and cheese (cavatappi pasta, cheddar cheese with a panko crust topping) and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. First off, the mac and cheese was okay, but it shouldn't be described as baked mac. There was no panko, and it was just slopped into a bowl. Don't call it baked if you're not going to do it. The mash was okay, didn't taste any garlic. The two sides were the only thing in this entire meal that was salvageable and they were an up charge. I can't even image how cold and gross the fries would've been.
But when it came time for the check, Nicole asked us how everything was to which we replied "could've been better" and again, she briefly said "oh sorry" and ran away. She came back so quickly I was shocked it was even possible, I hadn't realized she could move that fast seeing as we went without most of our time at the restaurant without water and interacting.
The only positive thing during this meal was the soundtrack and the overall aesthetic and decor. -

This location is very large and usually has a shorter wait time than the jenkintown location. While this location does have a few outdoor seats, it's not as nice as the large outdoor patio at the jenkintown location. Tip: try the Mac and cheese!!
